Saturday, May 26th – Rainmaker Rodeo Parade

I was blessed to ride in the St. Albert Rainmaker Rodeo Parade, with Miss Teen St. Albert – World 2011, Vanessa Peynenburg!

When I first arrived at the site where the cars were waiting for their drivers, I went looking for the car that had my name on it; I was very excited! When I found it, my eyes went wide as they fell upon my name on a beautiful car sign!

Things like this make me realize how fortunate I am to be part of the MTC-W competition, it has helped me achieve so many things that I could not have done on my own. 🙂

The Parade turn out was great, there were tons of kids and adults out there clapping, screaming and eating candy! The Parade has always been something I enjoy a lot, I believe it is a great way for the community to get together and have some fun! I was having a blast waving at the kids, and I loved it when they waved back.

I overall had a wonderful time at the parade, getting to know Vanessa, and taking in the warm weather ! 🙂

Monday, June 18th 2012 – SUMMER’S ALMOST HERE!

I cannot believe how fast this year has gone by! Final Exams have snuck up on me again, and I am surprised to hear that I only have 2 days left of classes, and then 5 days of exams! I have been working on a lot of things lately, organizing my garage sale this weekend,  the Cookie Crumbles/ Free The Children Fundraising, studying, and buying clothes for my trip to Toronto! I am so excited for the Miss Teen Canada – World competition, I am so grateful to be a part of something as wonderful as this ! I can’t wait until I meet all the girls that I will be spending a week with, we will have so much fun together.

I wish everyone the best of luck on their exams (If you have any), and I will talk to you all soon! 🙂

Thanks for reading, I love you all!
